United States Trade and Development Agency

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency promotes national exports by financing feasibility studies for companies searching for new export markets. The agency first identifies international projects with export potential. It then acts as an intermediary between the project's sponsor, usually a foreign government, and the competing firms. U.S. companies submit competing proposals which are evaluated based on developmental priority export potential, financing availability, and competition.
