| Bureau of Engraving and Printing The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is the largest producer of security documents in the United States, producing over 9 billion Federal Reserve notes each year (coins are produced by the United States Mint).  The BEP offers 40-minute congressional tours at 8:15 am, 8:45 am, 4:00 pm, and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (afternoon times are only available May through August). Contact my office at (202) 224-5521 to request a congresional tour. Public tours begin every 10 minutes from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday. Evening tours from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm are offered in the summer, June through August. Tickets for the public tours are free and available at a booth on Raoul Wallenberg Place beginning at 8:30 am.
