I would like to thank all the participating schools who attended the 2005 Student Leadership Institute.  Many of the students who attended shared ideas that will help make our state an even better place to live.  The day was great for everyone involved.

Seminars

At SLI 2005, high school students had the opportunity to attend three of the six policy seminars led by my legislative staff from Washington, D.C. These seminars addressed many of the major issues we face in Congress such as education, health, national security and economic development.

Locations

The 2005 SLI was held in the northern region of the state. Seminars were held in Farmington on February 23 and in Santa Fe on February 24.  Next year's program will return to the southern region of the state.
