Michael Yudin

Michael Yudin is Senator Bingaman's Senior Counsel for Education.
Michael works on a variety of issues for Senator Bingaman including education, workforce development and labor, social security, and welfare reform . Michael previously worked for Senator Jeffords from Vermont and Senator Reed from Rhode Island. Prior to coming to the Senate, Michael worked as an attorney for the Federal government for almost 10 years at both the Social Security Administration and the Department of Labor.

Michele Mazzocco
Michele is a developmental pschologist working on education policy issues for Senator Bingaman.
She is a Science and Technology Fellow for the 2007-2008 year, sponsored by the Society for Research in Child Development. Although she is currently on sabbatical from her academic position, Michele has been carrying out research on child development and mathematics achievement for the last ten years. She received both of her graduate degree, in Early Childhood Education and Experimental Psychology, from Arizona State University. She also completed postdoctoral training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She is interested in education policy directed towards optimizing teaching and learning and reducing the achievement gap.
